JAKARTA - PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Utara (BSMT) plans a distribution of cash dividend of IDR 592.06 billion or 80% of total net profit in 2023 of IDR 740.07 billion. The net profit of BSMT climbed 5.61% higher than 2022 net profit of IDR 700.71 billion.

In the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (27/2), the 2023 net profit was acknowledged by Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held yesterday (26/2).

Agus Condro, Corporate Secretary of BPD Sumut, confirmed that the shareholders have agreed upon the decision to allocate 80% of the 2023 net profit, or IDR 592.06 billion, as dividend, 20% or IDR 148.01 billion as general reserves, and 5.25% as bonus for the management.

Throughout 2023, BPD Sumut’s total revenue was recorded at IDR 3.46 trillion, up from IDR 3.28 trillion. The total revenue is made up of interest income of IDR 3.27 trillion, which grew from IDR 3.13 trillion, and sharia income of IDR 184.92 billion, also increasing from IDR 150.72 billion. (LK/ZH)
