JAKARTA. PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (BDMN) has secured approval from its shareholders to distribute cash dividend from its 2023 net profit.

Hendy Deiny Wong, Corporate Secretary Lead of BDMN, said that this decision is made according to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on March 22, 2024. In this meeting, shareholders agreed to allocate 35% of the 2023 net profit, or equal to IDR 1.22 trillion, as cash dividend.

With this allocation, the dividend per share distributed by the company is equal to IDR 125.48 per share.

The recording date, or the recording of shareholders eligible for dividend, is set to IDR April 4, 2024. Meanwhile, the disbursement of the cash dividend is scheduled on April 25, 2024.

According to IDNFinancials data, BDMN booked net profit of IDR 3.5 trillion in 2023. In addition, the company still held retained earnings of IDR 34.83 trillion, while its total equity clocked up to IDR 49.23 trillion. (KR/ZH)
