JAKARTA. PT Wulandari Bangun Laksana Tbk (BSBK), the developer of Balikpapan Superblock (BSB) in East Kalimantan, is planning a prelaunch of Sapphire Apartment this year.

This plan is made following BSBK’s financial performance that looked quite solid in 2023, with total sales of IDR 347 billion and net profit of IDR 39 billion.

For the record, BSBK has built 13-story Sapphire Apartment with total building area of 18,912.17 square metres. This apartment is said to have 212 residential units, consisting of 101 of 1-bedroom (BR) units, 81 of 2-BR units, 24 of 3-BR units, and 6 penthouse units.

This property will also be equipped with numerous supporting facilities, including gym, infinity swimming pool, function room, playground, and yoga room. BSBK is targeting sales from this project to reach IDR 500 billion.

In addition to the plan of Sapphire Apartment prelaunch, BSBK also plans to add 51 more units in Pentacity Hotel. It is worth mentioning that the company has indeed intended to increase the occupancy rate of Pentacity Mall and Ewalk Mall this year to 90% and 99.5%, respectively.

For the record, BSBK booked revenue of IDR 110 billion in 2023, up 38.71% year-on-year (yoy), resulting in net profit of IDR 39 billion, skyrocketing as high as 895.81% yoy.

“This net profit surge resulted from increased operational activities, as well as efficiency measures implemented on finance expenses by the company,” said Daniel Wirawan, Director of BSBK. (KR/ZH)
