JAKARTA – The profit of PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN) slipped 45.73% year-on-year (yoy) in 2023 compared to 2022. This performance decline resulted from low sales and operating revenue throughout last year.

The 2023 Financial Report of APLN quoted Tuesday (23/4) reported that the current year’s net profit clocked up to IDR 1.16 trillion, slipping 48.67% yoy from IDR 2.26 trillion in 2022.

Therefore, the net profit attributable to the parent entity dropped 45.73% yoy to IDR 1.08 trillion from IDR 1.99 trillion, while the net profit attributed to non-controllers plummeted 70.12% yoy to IDR 81.85 billion from IDR 273.99 billion.

This profit shrinkage was triggered from poor sales and revenue of APLN in 2023 to IDR 4.67 trillion from IDR 8.66 trillion seen in 2022. Meanwhile, its gross profit also dropped 59.595 yoy to IDR 1.96 trillion from IDR 4.86 trillion in 2022.

In total, it recorded sales of IDR 3.20 trillion, halved from IDR 7.20 trillion seen in 2022, while revenue slightly improved from IDR 1.46 trillion to IDR 1.47 trillion. (LK/ZH)
