JAKARTA. PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR), a Fast-Moving Consumer Good (FMCG) company with the highest market capitalisation, booked net profit of IDR 1.44 trillion in Q1 2024.

UNVR’s net profit in Q1 2024 grew 3.06% year-on-year (yoy), although from the top-line perspective, its net sales were corrected 4.95% yoy to IDR 10.08 trillion.

However, the sales decline was indeed followed with efficiency on costs of sales, which only reached IDR 5.04 trillion in Q1 2024. The cost of goods sold went down 6.1% yoy from IDR 5.37 trillion.

Based on the product segment, IDR 6.44 trillion of net sales of UNVR in Q1 2024 came from household needs and body care products. Meanwhile, food and beverages’ sales contributed IDR 3.63 trillion.

Furthermore, UNVR’s domestic sales were recorded at IDR 9.79 trillion, while export sales clocked up to IDR 286.45 billion.

As of March 31, 2024, UNVR’s total assets were recorded at IDR 18.34 trillion with cash and cash equivalent of IDR 409.31 billion, while total equity reached IDR 4.84 trillion. (KR/ZH)
