JCI jumps 5.02% at session I close, MYORA shares soar 12.63%

JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) surged 5.02% at the close of the first trading session on Thursday (10/4), outperforming its 3.78% rise recorded at 9.26am WIB earlier in the session.
According to market data, the JCI advanced by 299.87 points to reach 6,267.86 at 12.00pm WIB. The index opened at 6,270.61, hitting a high of 6,310.82 and a low of 6,088.67 during session I.
Gains in several large-cap stocks from the energy, banking, and processed food sectors were the main drivers of the index's rise. In the energy sector, PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) inched up 0.13% to IDR 20,025, PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) rose 4.24% to IDR 1,720, and PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) gained 7.32% to IDR 2,640.
Banking stocks also contributed, with PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) climbing 4.10% to IDR 4,250 and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) advancing 4.41% to IDR 3,790. In the processed food segment, PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) rose 4.87% to IDR 7,000, while PT Mayora Indah Tbk (MYOR) soared 12.63% to IDR 2,140 per share.
Other indices also posted gains, with LQ45 up 5.76% at 707.941, IDX30 rising 5.81% to 373.470, IDX80 climbing 6.12% to 101.564, and IDXESGL gaining 6.32% to 134.494. (LK/ZH)
