MEDC provides additional USD 2.5 million working capital to subsidiary

JAKARTA – PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) has signed an addendum to increase a loan facility for its subsidiary, PT Exspan Petrogas Intranusa (EPI).
This was carried out through the first amendment to the restated loan agreement between MEDC and EPI, dated 22 April 2025.
MEDC’s Corporate Secretary, Siendy K. Wisandana, stated that in this first amendment, EPI intends to raise the maximum loan ceiling from MEDC by an additional USD 2.5 million, bringing the total loan ceiling to USD 19.5 million.
The funds will be used to finance EPI’s operational expenditures, while also extending the agreement’s maturity to 31 December 2028 and lengthening the repayment schedule.
“There is no impact from this event, information, or material fact on the operational activities, legal standing, financial condition, or business continuity of the issuer or public company,” said Siendy in a written statement, quoted on Wednesday (23/4).
Meanwhile, during trading on Wednesday (23/4), MEDC shares rose by 2.80% or 30 points to IDR 1,100 per share as of 09:58 WIB. Over the past week, MEDC shares have gained 4.27%, and 15.18% over the past month. (EF/KR/ZH)
