JAKARTA — On Monday, June 2, transactions involving foreign investors on the Indonesia Stock Exchange remain in the red zone. Following a long weekend break, today's foreign net sell was 823.46 million shares. This number was increased compared to the 3.86 billion shares that was the net sell volume on the previous trading day.

Despite the increase, the number of foreign transactions fell when compared to the 9–13 billion shares that were traded on May 28. There were 7.19 billion shares of stock purchased by foreign investors overall. Foreign investors had a net sell of 823.46 million shares, with a sales volume (foreign sell) of 8.01 billion.

With 211.98 million shares, PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) topped the top sell list. In addition to purchasing 3.90 billion shares, foreign investors in this digital issuer also sold 4.11 billion shares.

With 118.35 million shares, private bank PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) came in second, and then PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), a national bank, came right behind with 117.96 million shares. 83.02 million shares were purchased by BBCA's overseas investors, while 201.37 million were sold. In the meantime, BMRI's foreign investors sold 293.94 million shares and purchased about 175.97 million.

Additionally, foreigners only purchased 17.01 million shares of the e-commerce company, and after selling nearly 130 million shares, PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) earned a net sell of 112.09 million shares.

PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), a mineral mining issuer, concluded with a net sell of 110.16 million shares. In addition to purchasing 182.70 million BRMS shares, foreigners also sold 292.87 million shares.

However, with 209.13 million shares, PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB) shares saw the largest net buy of the day. 313.22 million shares were purchased by this gold mining investment issuer, while 104.09 million shares were sold.

The coal mining parent issuer, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), came in second with a net buy of 130.43 million shares. Foreign investors sold 462.58 million shares of this issuer and purchased up to 593.01 million shares.

The metal ore mining company PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) had a net buy of 53.44 million shares after foreigners purchased 124.09 million shares and sold 70.64 million shares.

After foreigners purchased about 90 million shares and sold 46.26 million shares of this mining contractor issuer, PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) came in next with a net buy of 43.27 million shares.

Lastly, 17.95 million shares were the net buy volume for PT MAP Aktif Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPA), a retailer of children's, sports, and entertainment products. About 27.41 million shares were purchased by its foreign investors, while 9.45 million shares were sold. (KD)
