ADRO declares dividend of IDR 158.9 per share

JAKARTA – Adaro Group's parent company, PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), has declared a final dividend of USD 0.00975 per share, equivalent to IDR 158.9 per share (using Bank Indonesia's mid-rate of IDR 16,300/USD) for the 2024 financial year.
The decision to distribute dividends was approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on Monday, 2 June 2025.
Previously, ADRO had distributed an interim dividend of IDR 106.84 per share on 15 January 2025. With the final dividend now confirmed, the remaining payout from the 2024 financial year amounts to IDR 52.06 per share.
On the other hand, according to IDNFinancials.com, ADRO’s net profit fell 16% year-on-year to USD 1.4 billion in 2024.
The downward trend in performance has continued into the first quarter of 2025, with profits plunging 80% to just USD 77 million.
Several key factors contributed to the profit decline. Firstly, the company’s revenue shrank by 22%. Secondly, gross profit margin dropped by 1,310 basis points quarter-on-quarter.
Lastly, profit from its spun-off thermal coal subsidiary AADI, which was deconsolidated at the end of 2024, is no longer included. The subsidiary had been the largest profit contributor the previous year, with USD 296 million.
In terms of share performance, ADRO’s price declined 1.41% to close at IDR 2,100 on Tuesday (3/6). This puts the indicated yield of ADRO’s final dividend at 7.6%. (DH/ZH)
