JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed in positive territory on Wednesday (4/6), climbing 0.34% or 24.22 points to 7,069.04.

The increase ended a three-day losing streak for the index, which had declined since Wednesday, 28 May 2025.

Equity turnover reached IDR 15.48 trillion by market close, consisting of IDR 14.86 trillion in the regular market and IDR 620.62 billion in negotiated trades.

Trading volume totalled 34.78 billion shares across 1.46 million transactions.

Shares of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) accounted for the largest transaction value, reaching IDR 1.5 trillion, with the stock price rising 5.65% by the end of the session.

Meanwhile, PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) posted the highest trading volume at 4.93 billion shares. In contrast to ANTM, GOTO’s stock price remained flat at IDR 62 per share.

Despite the rebound in today’s session, the IHSG remains down 0.15% year-to-date. Foreign investors have recorded a net sell of IDR 48.73 trillion since the start of the year. (KR/ZH)
