ADRO allocates IDR 4 trillion as shareholders approve buyback

JAKARTA – Shareholders of PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) have approved the allocation of IDR 4 trillion for a share buyback during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on Monday, 2 June.
The announcement was made by ADRO Corporate Secretary Mahardika Putranto in a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Wednesday (4/6).
“The shareholders resolved to approve the repurchase of shares issued by the company for a maximum amount of IDR 4 trillion,” he said.
In addition, the company, which is owned by Garibaldi Thohir, has decided to reduce its issued and paid-up capital by cancelling all treasury shares resulting from the 2024 buyback, amounting to 1.36 billion shares or 4.45% of total capital.
As a result, ADRO’s issued and paid-up capital will be reduced from 30.75 billion shares, with a total nominal value of IDR 3.07 trillion, to 29.38 billion shares, or IDR 2.39 trillion. (LK/ZH)
