JAKARTA – PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), a Sinarmas Group company, will begin developing a data centre project in partnership with Korea Investment Real Asset Management (KIRA) and LG Sinar Mas.

As previously reported by IDNFinancials.com, DSSA, through one of its subsidiaries, has acquired a plot of land owned by PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE).

The land, located in South Jakarta and measuring 8,516 square metres, was purchased for IDR 617.41 billion.

“A data centre service will be developed,” wrote DSSA Management in its official statement.

Earlier in March, DSSA had also announced its collaboration with KIRA and LG Sinar Mas to develop the SMX01 data centre in Jakarta’s business district.

The project will require an investment of more than USD 300 million, or approximately IDR 4.9 trillion, and is scheduled to begin operations in mid-2026.

The data centre will be operated under SM+, a joint venture between Sinarmas and KIRA.

“MX01 is a data centre designed to meet a wide range of customer needs, from enterprise businesses to global hyperscale companies,” DSSA Management explained.

Outside the data centre business, in mid-May DSSA also provided funding worth IDR 32.8 billion to PT Video Dot Com, a subsidiary of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA).

DSSA Director Daniel Cahya stated that the investment reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening its portfolio in the technology sector. (KR/ZH)
