JAKARTA - The performance of PT Yulie Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (YULE) is still negative in the first quarter of 2023, similar with the period in 2022. The company's loss was recorded at IDR 18.41 billion, increased from the same period in 2022 of IDR 18.30 billion.

Agustinus Sumandar, Director of PT Yulie Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (YULE), said that the company's negative performance was affected by the declining performance of the national stock exchange. "Prominent stocks also fell, which affected us to have a portfolio of securities at the end of the year,"he said, in a public expose on Friday (5/5).

According to him, the declining performance in the first quarter is a trend that takes place every year. In the second and third quarters, the company's performance will increase, and changes can be seen in the fourth quarter.

"We remain optimistic, firstly because the decline in the first quarter is a trend that occurs from year to year, and secondly, because the stocks in our portfolio perform well and make a good contribution," he said.
