JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto and Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka discussed strengthening bilateral relations during a two-day visit to Jakarta on (23-24/4).
"What has been an agreement between the two countries in the past we will continue, under the government that I lead we will fulfil all our commitments and agreements in a short time," President Prabowo Subianto said.
According to the President, Indonesia wants to activate cooperation in the political field and streamline existing defence cooperation agreements.
"We are also committed, Indonesia is committed to supporting the construction of the Regional Agricultural Training Centre in Fiji which we hope will start this year too, we are ready," he said.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka arrived at Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten, on Wednesday (23/4) at around 8.50pm. (LK/LM)
