JAKARTA – Travel agency company PT Bayu Buana Tbk (BAYU), has announced plans to distribute a cash dividend of IDR 35.3 billion or IDR 100 per share for the 2024 financial year.

The dividend distribution has received approval from BAYU’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), held on Friday (16/5).

It is worth noting that this year’s dividend allocation is 33.3% higher than that of the 2023 financial year, which stood at IDR 26.5 billion or IDR 75 per share.

According to IDNFinancials.com data, the increase in dividends aligns with BAYU’s net profit performance, which jumped 44.3% year-on-year to IDR 102.2 billion in the 2024 financial year.

This brings the dividend payout ratio for 2024 to 34.5%, slightly down from 37.4% the previous year.

As of 11.17 AM WIB on Friday (16/5), BAYU’s share price had edged up 0.36% to IDR 1,380 per share. Based on this price, the indicative dividend yield for the 2024 financial year stands at 7.2%.

As of end-April 2025, Graha Sentosa remained the largest shareholder in BAYU with 28.08%, followed by Union Bancaire with 10.07%, Bank Julius Baer and Co Ltd at 7.86%, Bank of Singapore at 6.49%, and the public at 45.3%. (ZH/KR)
