JAKARTA – PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) has partnered with PT Antareja Mahada Makmur (AMM) to mine and transport nickel ore at Bahodopi I block in Central Sulawesi.

Wiwiek Wahyuni, Chief of CEO Office and Corporate Secretary at INCO, said the collaboration would strengthen the company’s operational business.

“The additional nickel ore production from Bahodopi Block 1 will complement the Sorowako Block, which has been in operation,” she said in a disclosure cited on Monday (2/6).

The signing of the mining services contract took place last week (30/5). The contract covers land stripping, mining and transporting nickel ore services, including infrastructure development related to mining services.

Meanwhile, the company appointed PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) as the miner and transporter of nickel ore materials for Bahodopi Blocks 2 and 3 in Central Sulawesi on 8 April 2025.

In the first quarter of 2025, INCO’s revenue reached USD 206.52 million, down 10.18% from USD 229.93 million in the same period of 2024.

Meanwhile, gross profit fell 2.88% from USD 20.09 million to USD 19.51 million, while net profit soared 251.87% from USD 6.19 million to USD 21.79 million. (LK/KR/ZH)
