JAKARTA – Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has issued an Unusual Market Activity (UMA) warning for shares of PT Abadi Nusantara Hijau Investama Tbk (PACK).

In an official statement on Tuesday (3/6), the IDX reported that PACK’s share price had risen beyond normal patterns.

Yulianto Aji Sadono, Head of IDX Transaction Supervision Division, stated that the exchange is closely monitoring the movement of PACK shares.

“In the interest of investor protection, we inform that an unusual increase has occurred in the price of PACK shares,” he said.

At the close of trading on Tuesday (3/6), PACK’s share price jumped 9.93% to IDR 3,320 per share.

The share price of this packaging producer has also surged 20.73% over the past week, and 44.98% over the past month.

In response to the UMA designation, the IDX is currently reviewing the trading patterns of PACK shares.

The exchange has advised investors to monitor PACK management’s response to the bourse’s request for clarification, as well as to assess the company’s performance and information disclosures.
