JAKARTA – HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self, a foreign investor, sold 100 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) on Monday, June 2, according to the list of changes in share ownership above 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Through PT Bank HSBC Indonesia, this investor sold the shares, with around 10.05% of the shares now owned.

53.10 million shares of PT Jembo Cable Company Tbk (JECC), a manufacturer of electric cables and telecommunications, were sold and acquired. Through PT OCBC Sekuritas Indonesia, Fujikura Ltd. sold the shares, keeping the remaining 6.49%.

In the meantime, PT Monaspermata Persada, the JECC controller, purchased shares through PT Korea Investment And Sekuritas Indonesia, acquiring a 54.3% overall stake.

Then, via Citibank, N.A., Bank of Singapore Limited sold 15.33 million shares of PT Bank Amar Indonesia Tbk (AMAR), bringing its share percentage decreased little, from 6% to 5.91%.

Investors' share portion was impacted by a private placement carried out by PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST), an Indonesian franchisee of the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant brand.

This time, although not decreasing the number of shares owned, two FAST investors entered the market hints due to the declining share portion. The two investors are PT Indoritel Makmur Internasional Tbk (DNET) (31.61%) and Fidelity Funds (6.76%).

In the meantime, PT Jaya Real Property Tbk (JRPT), a real estate developer, bought back 450 thousand of its own shares. PT Indo Premier Sekuritas was used to carry out this corporate action, and the total shares owned were around 6.19%.

Pandri Prabono-Moelyo, an individual investor, bought 301,200 shares of energy issuer PT Indika Energi Tbk (INDY) through two securities. He currently owns 5.08% of INDY stock.

The final two issuers to add shares are BBH Luxembourg S/A Fidelity Funds, which purchased 254,900 shares of PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA), and PT Bogamulia Nagadi, which purchased 279,000 shares of PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC).

Currently, Fidelity Funds owns 7.3% of ARNA, while Bogamulia Nagadi owns 89.64% of TSPC. (KD)
