JAKARTA – PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (SAMF), a fertiliser manufacturer, sets the target of revenue in 2023 to IDR 4.4 trillion. The target is quite optimistic, as it is 20% higher than the revenue realisation in 2022 of IDR 3.68 trillion.

Yahya Taufik, President Director of Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur, claimed that ensuring the supply of raw materials for fertilisers will then smooth out the production process. “We hope it could meet the demand for fertilisers throughout 2023, which will rise significantly,” he said.

According to Taufik, his company has reserved some raw materials in anticipation of the recovering global condition. Furthermore, the demand for fertilisers this year is projected to remain high. In 2022, SAMF managed to bag IDR 1.85 trillion of net profit, while its sales soared 99% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 3.68 trillion from the initial realisation in 2021 of IDR 2.88 trillion. (LK/ZH)
