JAKARTA - On Monday, April 10, net foreign trade volume sank to minus 1.14 billion shares. Only about 1.48 billion of the total shares were purchased by foreign investors, while 2.62 billion total shares were sold. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares' net volume is interestingly just slightly lower than the daily volume, which was -1.17 billion shares. This number emerged after foreign investors sold 1.70 billion GOTO shares while only purchasing 538.41 million.

Following GOTO, foreigners sold the second-largest volume of shares from PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), roughly 62.23 million shares. The net volume for BUMI, however, was only about minus 26.42 million. With a sales volume of 45.50 million shares, PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) recorded the second-lowest net volume instead, with -40.50 million shares. Additionally, 32.32 million shares of PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) and 25.74 million shares of PT Saptausaha Gemilangindah Tbk (SAGE) were released by foreign investors, for a net volume of approximately -27.92 million shares of ACES and -22.0 million shares of SAGE.

On the other hand, PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) shares, which were purchased by foreigners in as many as 56.41 million shares with a net volume of 55.32 million shares, were the best-selling shares purchased this time. Next, due to foreign purchases of 44.43 million BRMS shares and 53.59 million BUKA shares, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) and PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) came in second and third, respectively. These two issuers then reported net volumes of 48.91 million BRMS and 40.34 million BUKA shares. Foreign investors also acquired a total of 39.31 million shares of the banking issuer, PT Bank Amar Indonesia Tbk (AMAR), with a relatively small sales volume, bringing the net volume to approximately 36.33 million shares. Finally, PT Mitra Pack Tbk (PTMP), a coding and marking issuer, reported a net volume of 17.94 million shares after foreign investors also bought 19.50 million shares. (KD)
