Based on the presentation by Setyanto Hantoro, President Commissioner of BDDC, Bersama Digital Data Centers is designed to be a data center provider platform in the city, after considering the data center business opportunities which have high demand, in line with the development of the digital and internet ecosystem in Indonesia. Until now, BDDC operates with the support of its two data centers located in Jakarta.

The two are the South East Jakarta (JST) site in the Kuningan area and the West Jakarta Tangerang (JBT) site in the Daan Mogot area. Bersama Digital Data Centers is known as a subsidiary of Bersama Digital Infrastructure Asia Pte Ltd, an entity registered as the controller of PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) with a percentage share ownership of 74.97% until March 2023.
