JAKARTA – Modalku readies its platform to facilitate vendors and companies in the e-catalogue and e-procurement sector, especially those who are engaged in the government's projects, through its latest program called Modal Proyek.

Modal Proyek is designed to cater to electronic-based procurement services providers that require unsecured loans for carrying out government projects. "Many of our debtors experience this kind of issue, in which they win government tenders, but they have lacking funds. That is where we offer assistance," Arthur Adisusanto, Country Head Modalku for Indonesia, added.

With the total available credit limit of IDR 1.5 billion and a tenor of 120 days, this facility has an interest rate set to a minimum of 1.25% per month.

Until April 2023, Modalku Group, located in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, had channelled approximately IDR 48 trillion of credits to its users. It managed to maintain its successful credit repayment level (lit. Tingkat Keberhasilan Pengembalian Dana/TKB90) at 95.70%. "We enhance our debt collection, restructuring process, and insurance. Those are our strategies to maintain our TKB90 level," Adisusanto further explained.

For the record, in March 2023, Modalku also started to implement Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and sustainability initiatives in its business, focusing on people, planet, and profit. They have started to allocate funding for MSMEs that are engaged in the sustainable, green, and circular economy. (ZH)
