JAKARTA - On Thursday, June 22, foreign investor CGS-CIMB Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd. purchased 405 million shares of PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI). As a result, this Singaporean investor increased its share from 7.31% to 9.92%. Interestingly, almost all of the shares purchased came from Wilton Resources Holdings Pte. Ltd., which released 400 million shares on the same day. This majority shareholder, who is also based in Singapore, lost about 2.5% of his holdings, leaving it with a 69.47% stake.

Moreover, the investor Winfly Ltd., an affiliate of MNC Kapital, then purchased 15.88 million shares of MNC Bank (PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP)). Meanwhile, PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk increased its investment in PT Modernland Realty Tbk (MDLN) by 4.48 million. PT Merdeka Energi Nusantara then carried on buying up as many as 2.75 million shares of electric vehicle battery manufacturer PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), while PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk purchased 2.01 million shares of hospital operator PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME). Furthermore, mining holding company PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) conducted another share buyback, this time for 1.83 million shares.

Apparently, not many investors with more than 5% of the shareholding divested, but GOTO Peopleverse Fund became the first to sell 25.03 million shares of on-demand service provider PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). Furthermore, PT Abadimukti Gunalestari dumped 4 million shares of property developer PT Perdana Gapura Prima Tbk (GPRA), and PT Asuransi Bina Dana Arta Tbk sold 93,300 shares of tourism services company PT Bayu Buana Tbk (BAYU).
