JAKARTA - PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) obtained 57% new contracts, worth IDR 7.98 trillion, from the private sector in the first half of 2023. The total value of new contracts of ADHI amounted IDR 14 trillion at the end of June 2023.

In the press release quoted Monday (17/7), Farid Budyanto, Corporate Secretary of ADHI, mentioned that the new contract procurement grew 20% from the previous period in 2022 of IDR 11.7 trillion. “Based on the funding source, the realisation of new contracts from the government reaches 28%, followed by State-Owned and Regionally-Owned Enterprises, as well as private sector and others,” he explained.

These new contracts include North-South Commuter Railway CP S-01 in the Philippines, Cibeet Water Reservoir in West Java, and Patimban Access Toll Road.

According to Budyanto, the secured new contracts are in line with the target set for this year worth IDR 27 trillion.

Based on its business lines, engineering and construction dominated with 92% contribution, followed by property of 3%, and other business lines. In terms of project types, roads and bridges covered 58% of the new contracts, followed by water resources 12%, buildings 11%, railway 11%, precast 3%, and other infrastructure projects. (LK/ZH)
