JAKARTA - On Wednesday, August 16, financial services firm and investment broker PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia sold 713.77 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS). Previously, Samuel Sekuritas controlled approximately 18.56% of the palm oil producer, but it now controls roughly 15.55%. PT Esa Gemilang also conducted a high-volume share sale, releasing nearly 170 million shares of PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL), a coal mining company.

PT Aldiracita Sekuritas Indonesia also divested 12.19 million shares in the pharmaceutical company PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA). Sabana Prawira Widjaja then sold 10 million shares of PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry Tbk (ULTJ), a dairy product company, and then GOTO Peopleverse Fund sold 8.75 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), a technology company.

Foreign investor GA Robusta F&B Co. Pte. Ltd., on the other hand, purchased 60 million shares of the cafe and restaurant operator PT Map Boga Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPB). MAPB is a subsidiary of the MAP Group. PT Prima Globalindo Logistik Tbk then made a 14.8 million-share investment in the land transportation company PT Armada Berjaya Trans Tbk (JAYA). On a smaller scale, PT Arthakencana Rayatama purchased 7.53 million shares of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA), and PT Citrajaya Perkasamulia purchased 2 million shares of PT Pelangi Indah Canindo Tbk (PICO). Finally, this time, PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) purchased 5.3 million of its own shares. (KD)
