JAKARTA – Alexander Ramlie, CEO of PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) secured the title the Best CEO in Resources Materials according to Tempo-IDNFinancias during the TOP CEO Awards 2023 at Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach Resort, Bali, last Friday (1/12). He is considered highly committed to sustainable mining operation.

TOP CEO Awards 2023 took place at Sofitel Nusa Dua, Bali, and was attended by several Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of listed companies in various industries, including flight, coal-mining, nickel, plantation, banking, construction materials, automotive spare parts and components, heavy equipment, and automotive.

As of now, AMMN is the second biggest copper and gold mining operator in Indonesia. In Q3 2023, the concentrate production reached 110,623 dry metric tons, while concentrate sales reached 180,698 dry metric tons. Meanwhile, copper production clocked up to 66 million lbs, followed with its sales of 99 million lbs. Then, gold production was 88 kilo ounces, while gold sales were at 114 kilo ounces. Total mined materials were 88 million tons, and processed ores were recorded at 9 million tons.

This company debuted on Indonesia Stock Exchange on July 7, 2023, by listing 71.91 billion shares. As of October 2023, AMMN’s market capitalisation was at IDR 470.68 trillion, entering the sixth place in the Top 10 Market Capitalisation of IDX. Its market cap actually increases from July 2023 to IDR 202.08 trillion.

Ramlie joined Amman Mineral Internasional in 2015, and has played his role in the acquisition of PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara. In 2012-2015, he was Director of Bumi PLC, an issuer listed on London Stock Exchange (LSE). (LK/ZH)
