JAKARTA - The controlling shareholder of Bersama Digital Infrastructure Asia Pte Ltd. (BDIA) purchased 1 billion shares of PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) on Wednesday, January 24. This share acquisition transaction brings BDIA's holding percentage in the telecommunications infrastructure provider company to 79.75%.

Apart from that, the transfer of shares between two foreign investors involved the industrial property business PT Mega Manunggal Property Tbk (MMLP), with Provident Warehouse Pte Ltd selling 200 million shares and Bridge Lead Limited acquiring the same number of shares.

Another foreign investor, Blooming Years Pte Ltd, purchased 1.98 million shares of PT Multitrend Indo Tbk (BABY), a baby clothes retailer. PT Anugerah Spareparts Sejahtera Tbk (AEGS), which manufactures oil filters, then welcomed Handoko as a new investor, after he purchased 51.82 million shares for a 5.15% stake. PT Goldfive Investment Capital then continued the share purchase, purchasing 1.79 million shares of PT Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines Tbk (BSML), a sea shipping and logistics services company, followed by PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS), a clothing retail company, which bought back 1.20 million shares of their own company.

Furthermore, the GOTO Peopleverse Fund was seen releasing 11.59 million shares of the digital corporation PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) without reducing their final share ownership percentage. Still, as the previous trading day, two investors in the banking company PT Bank Mayapada Internasional Tbk (MAYA) had their share ownership percentage decrease as a result of their non-participation in MAYA's rights issues. JPMCB NA Re-Cathay Life Insurance Co. Ltd. now owns 8.68% of MAYA shares, while Galasco Investments Limited holds 5.73%. (KD)
