JAKARTA - On Wednesday, February 7, several foreign investors released PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares in exceptional quantities. Around 16.2 billion GOTO shares were sold by Chinese e-commerce platform Taobao China Holding Limited, which retained a 7.37% ownership stake. After that, SVF GT Subco (Singapore) Pte Ltd. sold 2.91 million shares, and GOTO Peopleverse Fund released 34.22 million GOTO shares.

Reaching deep into its pockets, PT Bogamulia Nagadi acquired 2.74 billion shares of PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), a pharmaceutical company. With an increase in ownership from 25.56% to 86.41%, Bogamulia is currently the majority shareholder. Additionally, PT Asia Intrinvesta purchased another 200 million shares of PT Hassana Boga Sejahtera Tbk (NAYZ), increasing this investor's control stake to 56.47%.

On a smaller level, PT Deli Pratama Batubara acquired almost 10 million shares of the oil and gas operator PT Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (PKPK). Subsequently, PT Goldfive Investment Capital acquired 9.211 million shares in PT Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines Tbk (BSML), a maritime shipping and logistics company. Next, 2.20 million shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG), a business involved in the exploration, extraction, and trading of oil and gas, were purchased by PT CGS-CIMB Sekuritas Indonesia.

However, it looks like the ownership of shares by two foreign investors has decreased. Prinsep Management Limited sold 9.45 million shares of palm oil company PT FAP Agri Tbk (FAPA), and Deutsche Bank AG SG SES CLT A/C FOR SGMC VCC sold 78.73 million shares of content services provider PT Era Digital Media Tbk (AWAN).
