JAKARTA - On Monday, February 12, Sujaka Lays, a young entrepreneur and the proprietor of PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL), acquired 1.4 billion shares of the coal issuer. After this most recent transaction, Sujaka's ownership of the shares increased to 48.01% from his previous 25.61%.

The next update was from the Sinar Mas Group, whose subsidiary, PT APP Purinusa Ekapersada, disclosed that it had made investments in two separate issuers. APP first invested in PT Uni-Charm Indonesia (UCID) by purchasing 550 million shares, or roughly 13.23% of the company that produces health, feminine, and baby products. Subsequently, APP acquired 337.48 million shares of PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP), a company engaged in the production of cardboard packaging and paper goods.

Next, Edwin Soeryadjaya, an individual investor, also purchased 1.03 million shares of PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG), while Blooming Years Pte Ltd., a foreign investor, added 36.04 million shares of PT Multitrend Indo Tbk (BABY), a baby and teenage fashion retailer, to its portfolio.

Again coming from overseas investors, the GOTO Peopleverse Fund was observed dumping 320.30 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), the technology issuer. In addition, Resources Fortune Ltd. sold 3.05 million shares of palm oil producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), and Investree Singapore Fund sold 131.46 million shares of private bank PT Bank Amar Indonesia (AMAR).

The MNC Group then saw PT Global Mediacom Tbk sell 116.85 million shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) and PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk sell 24.07 million shares of PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR). These two issuers are part of the media division of the MNC Group. (KD)
