JAKARTA - City Vision, an Out-of-Home (OOH) media company under Saratoga Group, collaborates with PT Transjakarta to offer a new kind of advertisement by providing an immersive brand experience at bus shelters.

For the initial demonstration, this collaboration turns Transjakarta bus shelters into an immersive art experience, decorating the interior and exterior of the bus stops with paintings of Van Gogh, Monet, Klimt, and Hokusai.

"The shelters could then be customisable according to the brand's vision," said Ayu Paramita, Head of Brand and Communication of City Vision, in her opening speech at the Press Conference of the Launch of City Vision Bus Shelter Advertising Network today (25/3) at Tosari.

Paramita further said that there will be a total of 10 bus shelters that will become the available spots for advertisement installation, namely Harmoni, Monas, Bundaran HI Astra, Tosari, Dukuh Atas, Karet Sudirman, Polda Metro, GBK, CSW ASEAN, and Ragunan.

This advertising spots are deemed quite strategic as 90% of the selected bus shelters are at Sudirman-Thamrin Street, the common daily commute route of office workers and where many shopping centres are located.

These are also some of the busiest bus shelters," Paramita said. She then added that City Vision will be offering two types of products: interior and exterior bus shelter decorations.

According to David Sommer, Head of Corporate Strategy & Media Planning of City Vision, as of now, his company has recorded 1,700 bus wrapping advertisement, focusing primarily in Corridor 1-9 of Transjakarta.

On the other side of the collaboration, Mahal Rivero, Head of Marketing Department of Transjakarta, welcomes this partnership opportunity. "We have conducted events at bus shelters, bus wrapping, for all kinds of brands," he added.

For the record, City Vision is one of the biggest OOH media companies, with digital screens installed in Transjakarta and Commuter Railway (KRL), as well as roadside LEDs and billboard across Jakarta. "Next month, we will launch the LED on Indonesia Stock Exchange building," Sommer revealed. (ZH)
