JAKARTA. PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR), one of many subsidiaries of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) engaged in the toll road management, has reportedly channelled extra capital to PT Waskita Sriwijaya Tol (WST).

The capital investment allocated by WTR for WST is worth IDR 7.5 billion. This money came from the interest income of state equity participation (lit. Penyertaan Modal Negara/PMN) received by WTR.

This extra capital will not change WTR’s portion in WST. As of now, WTR claims 99.69% of WST, while Prodexim owns another 0.14%, and Bende 0.17%.

According to IDNFinancials record, WSKT now controls 92.53% of WTR. Total assets of WTR as of December 2023 were recorded at IDR 65.02 trillion. However, throughout 2023, WTR suffered from a loss of IDR 1.25 trillion.

Meanwhile, consolidated cash and cash equivalent booked by WSKT were reported at IDR 1.34 trillion. Its total assets reached IDR 95.59 trillion, while its total equity clocked up to IDR 11.6 trillion. (KR/ZH)
