JAKARTA. PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), a cigarette manufacturer with the highest market capitalisation in Indonesia, is scheduling its cash dividend distribution of IDR 8.06 trillion, taken out of its 2023 net profit.

Andy Revianto, Corporate Secretary of HMSP, mentioned that the allocated cash dividend is IDR 69.3 per share. “It follows the result of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 23, 2024,” he added in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

The cash dividend will only be channelled to HMSP’s shareholders whose names have been listed under Official Register of Shareholders dated May 6, 2024. Then, the payment is set to take place on May 17, 2024.

According to IDNFinancials data, HMSP scored net profit of IDR 8.09 trillion in 2023. At the end of the year, it also booked unrestricted retained earnings of IDR 8.07 trillion, while its total equity clocked up to IDR 29.86 trillion.

Since the beginning of this year, HMSP’s price has gone down 45 points or 5.06% to IDR 845 per share. Meanwhile, within the past year, it has actually shifted down 170 points or 16.75%. (KR/ZH)
