PSSI explores new business lines as profit continues to decline
PSSI explores holding and consultancy ventures following two years of declining net profit.
JAKARTA – PT IMC Pelita Logistik Tbk (PSSI) plans to expand into two new business lines: holding company activities (KBLI 64200) and other management consultancy services (KBLI 70209).
PSSI described the move as an effort to ensure business sustainability and improve the company’s financial performance.
In a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), PSSI’s management stated that the plan is subject to approval at a General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS), scheduled for May 20, 2025.
According to data from IDNFinancials.com, PSSI’s net profit in 2023 declined by 4.26% year-on-year to IDR 630 billion. In 2024, its net profit plunged by 63.65% to IDR 229 billion. (KR/ZH)
