During the morning session. the index traded within a range of 6.201.89 to 6.236.62. after opening at 6.219.62.

Trading value across all markets reached IDR 11.11 trillion. with trading volume of 186.79 million lots and 1.13 million transactions.

PT Timah Tbk (TINS) recorded the highest trading value during the first session at IDR 381.53 billion. while its shares gained 5.62%.

Despite the JCI's advance. foreign investors recorded net sales of IDR 70.18 billion across all markets. This contrasted with Thursday's (30/7) trading session. when foreign investors posted net purchases of IDR 262 billion.
