Foreign funds left capital market IDR4.8 tn since early this week

JAKARTA – Foreign investors have withdrawn IDR 4.8 trillion from the capital market over two trading days since the beginning of the week.
On Monday (April 14, 2025), foreign investors recorded a net sell of IDR 2.32 trillion, followed by another net sell of IDR 2.48 trillion on Tuesday (April 15, 2025).
Since the start of the year, total foreign net sell has reached IDR 40.66 trillion.
On Tuesday’s trading session, shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were the most sold by foreign investors, with a net sell volume of 437.9 million shares.
Meanwhile, PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) was the most purchased stock by foreign investors, with a net buy volume of 55.81 million shares.
Despite the large foreign capital outflows from the stock market, the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) remained in the green zone over the last two trading days. The index rose 1.7% on Monday and 1.15% on Tuesday, reaching 6,441.68. (KR/LM)
