JAKARTA – PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (ANJT), a palm oil plantation issuer, has officially sold its entire stake in PT Moon Lion Industries Indonesia (MLI) in a transaction valued at IDR 68.9 billion.

All MLI shares were sold to Chun Yu Works & Co. Ltd. (CYW), a bolt manufacturer based in Taiwan. ANJT and CYW signed the Share Purchase Deed on 22 April 2025.

Naga Waskita, Director and Corporate Secretary of ANJT, stated that the company held 2.37 million shares or 11.88% of MLI’s equity. The majority—2.27 million shares—were sold to CYW, with the remaining 100,000 shares sold to Ir. Mintarto Halim.

MLI is a manufacturing firm engaged in the production of bolts, nuts, and other steel products, operating facilities in the Manis Industrial Zone in Tangerang and Pulo Gadung, Jakarta.

“From this transaction, ANJT secured IDR 66 billion from CYW and IDR 2.9 billion from Mintarto Halim,” Naga said in an official statement, quoted Wednesday (23/4).

The divestment is part of ANJT’s investment portfolio management strategy and is deemed to have no material impact on its operations. It also follows shortly after ANJT was acquired by PT Ciliandra Perkasa, a subsidiary of First Resources Pte Ltd, on 18 March 2025.

Ciliandra acquired a 91.17% stake in ANJT from four former controlling shareholders: Austindo Kencana Jaya (AKJ), Memimpin Dengan Nurani (MDN), Sjakon George Tahija (SGT), and George Santosa Tahija (GST).

Following the acquisition, Ciliandra is also expected to conduct a mandatory tender offer in accordance with OJK Regulation No. 9/2018, in line with capital market requirements. (EF/KR/ZH)
