JAKARTA— With a net buy of 91.77 million shares, foreign investor transactions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange ended Thursday, April 24, on a good note. This number contrasts with the net sell of 83.84 million shares from the previous trading day.

Nevertheless, the volume of foreign transactions today was lower than the around 4.2 billion shares that were traded on April 23. There were 3.69 billion shares of stock purchased by foreign investors overall. Today's foreign investors recorded a net buy of 91.77 million shares, with a sales volume (foreign sell) of 3.60 billion shares.

The IDX recorded the highest net buy from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) shares with 87.25 million shares, followed by PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) with 82.46 million.
49.28 million shares were sold, and 136.53 million were purchased by foreign investors of ANTM. In contrast, GOTO's foreign shareholders sold about 1.58 billion shares and bought 1.66 billion shares, a significantly larger number.

After foreigners purchased 171.40 million shares and sold 103.34 million, the national bank, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), then made a net buy of 68.06 million shares.

Following that, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) received a net buy of 43.47 million shares, with 52.42 million shares purchased by foreigners and about 9 million shares sold. With 35.51 million shares, PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) closed the top buy list. This energy infrastructure issuer had 46.76 million shares purchased by foreigners and approximately 11.25 million shares sold.

On the other hand, with 76.32 million shares of net sell, private bank PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) topped the top sell list. Foreign investors purchased 43.34 million shares of BBCA, but over 120 million were sold.
After foreigners purchased 29.35 million shares of this mineral mining issuer and sold 63.67 million shares, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) followed with a net sell of 34.32 million shares. It was closely followed by banking issuer PT Bank KB Bukopin (BBKP), whose net sell volume is 28.10 million shares. 17.42 million shares of BBKP were purchased by foreigners, whereas 45.52 million shares were sold.

With a net sell volume of 24–25 million shares, PT Merdeka Battery Minerals Tbk (MBMA) and PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET) finished as the top sellers. Foreign investors of INET purchased 40.60 million shares of this information technology issuer and sold 65.13 million shares, while foreign investors of MBMA purchased 53.39 million shares and sold 78.86 million shares of this nickel mining issuer.
