PALM to launch rights issue, shareholders meeting rescheduled

JAKARTA – PT Provident Investasi Bersama Tbk (PALM) has postponed the date of its Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) to decide on its planned rights issue, from 18 June to 25 June 2025.
The announcement was made by PALM Corporate Secretary Lim Na Lie in an information disclosure on Monday (19/5).
In addition to the date change, PALM also revised the record date for shareholders entitled to attend the meeting, from 26 May to 2 June 2025. The outcome of the meeting will be announced on 25 July 2025.
According to the company’s prospectus, PALM will issue 4.71 billion shares with a nominal value of IDR 15 each. The total number of shares to be issued represents a maximum of 30% of the company’s issued and paid-up capital.
Proceeds from the rights issue will be used to expand the investment portfolio by acquiring shares or other equity securities, including for working capital.
Currently, PALM has authorised capital of IDR 426 billion, with issued and paid-up capital of IDR 236.60 billion and portfolio shares of IDR 189.39 billion.
PALM’s shareholder structure is as follows: PT Provident Capital Indonesia (PCI) 58.02%, Garibaldi Thohir 19.90%, Winato Kartono 7.79%, Hardi Wijaya Liong 5.32%, Tri Boewono 0.42%, and the public 8.55%. (LK/KR/ZH)
