Sri Mulyani reveals five candidates for LPS deputy chairman

JAKARTA – The Selection Committee for the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) announced five candidates who passed the second stage of the selection process on Tuesday (20/5).
Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Chair of the Selection Committee for the Deputy Chairman of the LPS Board of Commissioners, stated that the five candidates who passed the fit and proper test are Andry Asmoro, Andy Samuel, Doddy Zulverdi, Farid Azhar Nasution, and Imansyah.
Andry Asmoro is currently Group Head of the Office of Chief Economist at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) and serves as Special Staff at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) for Economic Affairs. He earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Indonesia and a Master’s in Economics from Georgia State University.
Andy Samuel is President Director of PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo). Previously, he served as President Director of IFG Life. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Indonesia and pursued further insurance studies at Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland–United Kingdom (UK).
Doddy Zulverdi is Assistant Governor and Head of the Department of Strategic Management and Governance at Bank Indonesia (BI). He previously served as Head of BI’s East Java Representative Office and was a candidate for the OJK Board of Commissioners in 2022. He earned a degree in Economics and Development Studies from Padjadjaran University and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University.
Farid Azhar Nasution is currently a Member of the LPS Supervisory Board. He previously served as Finance and Investment Director at IFG Life. His academic background includes a Master’s degree in Sharia Finance from IPB University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance from Prasetiya Mulya Business School, and a Diploma in Accounting from STAN (State College of Accountancy).
Imansyah is a retired Deputy Commissioner of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). He previously served as Head of the OJK Regional Office in West Java. He holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Western Sydney University, Australia. (LK/KR/ZH)
