JAKARTA – PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), a mining subsidiary of the Astra Group, posted a significant year-on-year increase in gold and nickel sales volumes during the January–April 2025 period.

According to its internal monthly report, UNTR recorded gold sales of 90,000 GEOs (gold equivalent ounces) in the first four months of the year, marking a 36.26% increase compared to the same period last year.

In the nickel segment, UNTR booked sales of 701,000 wmt (including saprolite and limonite) through April 2025. This represents a 17.22% increase from the same period last year, when sales reached 598,000 wmt.

UNTR Corporate Secretary Sara K. Loebis stated that the company is targeting gold sales of 240,000 GEOs in 2025, a 4.35% increase from 230,000 GEOs in 2024. (DH/KR/ZH)
