CLEO pays IDR 60 billion dividend, saves IDR 500 billion for expansion

JAKARTA – PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO), the bottled water producer owned by conglomerate Hermanto Tanoko, will distribute a cash dividend of IDR 60 billion or equivalent to IDR 5 per share for the 2024 financial year.
The decision was approved at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) held on Monday (26/5).
CLEO CEO, Melisa Patricia, emphasised that this dividend is a form of appreciation to the company’s shareholders.
“This is our way of expressing appreciation to the shareholders who have invested in CLEO shares,” she said in a press release.
CLEO recorded sales of IDR 2.7 trillion throughout 2024, an increase of 29% from the previous year. Consolidated net profit also surged by 46% to IDR 474 billion.
Melisa added that CLEO has consistently shown aggressive double-digit growth in both sales and net profit throughout its history. The company is therefore once again targeting double-digit growth this year.
At the same occasion, CLEO also prepared a capital expenditure (capex) budget of IDR 500 billion for 2025. Most of it will be allocated to the construction of three new factories in Palu, Pontianak, and Pekanbaru.
“Once these three factories are operational, CLEO’s total bottled drinking water plants will reach 35 units across Indonesia, strengthening production capacity and distribution reach,” said Melisa. (DH/KR/ZH)
