JAKARTA – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) will distribute a cash dividend of IDR 25.85 billion to its shareholders, equivalent to 20% of the company’s net profit for 2024.

The decision was approved during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on Tuesday (27/5).

Suherman Yahya, President Director of SMBR, stated that each shareholder will receive a dividend of IDR 2.6 per share.

“This dividend distribution is a form of appreciation to shareholders and also reflects the company’s strong fundamentals,” Suherman said in an official statement on Wednesday (28/5).

As a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR), SMBR has consistently paid cash dividends for the past three years, with the amount increasing each year.

For comparison, SMBR paid IDR 24.31 billion in cash dividends from its 2023 net profit. For the 2022 and 2021 financial years, the company distributed IDR 18.96 billion in dividends respectively.

“This reflects the company’s success in maintaining sustainable operational and financial performance,” Yahya added.

In addition to the dividend distribution, the AGMS also approved the allocation of IDR 103.4 billion, or 80% of net profit, as retained earnings. (DH/KR/ZH)
