JAKARTA – The shareholders of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) reshuffled the board of commissioners during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held yesterday (27/5).

According to a public disclosure, Octavius Oky Prakarsa, Vice President of Investor Relations at TLKM, announced changes to the board of commissioners and board of directors following the AGMS resolution.

The current board of commissioners now consists of eight members, including five newly appointed individuals and three incumbent commissioners.

Among the five newly appointed members are one echelon I official and two officials of equivalent rank from government ministries, bringing the total number of state officials on the TLKM board of commissioners to five.

The new TLKM board of commissioners comprises:

  • President Commissioner: Angga Raka Prabowo – currently serving as Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs in the Merah Putih Cabinet (KMP).
  • Commissioner: Ossy Dermawan – Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning, KMP.
  • Commissioner: Rionald Silaban – currently serving as Director General of State Assets Management at the Ministry of Finance.
  • Independent Commissioner: Deswandhy Agusman – currently Commissioner of PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia.
  • Independent Commissioner: Yohanes Surya – a physicist known for popularising the “Mestakung” (the universe supports) theory and for mentoring hundreds of students to win accolades in physics and mathematics olympiads.

The three incumbent commissioners retained are:

  • Commissioner: Ismail – currently Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs.
  • Independent Commissioner: Rizal Mallarangeng – politician from the Golkar Party.
  • Commissioner: Silmy Karim – currently serving as Deputy Minister for Immigration and Correctional Affairs.
