JAKARTA — The sale of 8.85 million shares of financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) by its controller, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, was highlighted in the list of changes in share ownership exceeding 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Monday, May 26. The controlling stake fraction dropped to 51.48% by the sale, which was conducted through PT Sinarmas Sekuritas.

The biggest share reduction was then made by Susyanalief, an individual investor in PT Multi Makmur Lemindo Tbk (PIPA), a maker of PVC pipes. Due to this sale of 287.50 million PIPA shares, her stake dropped from 20.43% to 12.04%. The sale was made possible by PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM).

Via PT OCBC Sekuritas Indonesia, foreign investor INV Management Pte Ltd sold 1.96 million shares of cybersecurity service provider PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR). Its shares fell slightly to 41.88%.

Through PT MNC Sekuritas, PT MNC Digital Entertainment Tbk (MSIN) sold 650 thousand of its own shares. 9.51% of the shares are held by this media industry issuer.

Finally, PT Harita Jayaraya sold 231 thousand shares of PT Cita Mineral Investindo Tbk (CITA), a bauxite mining firm. Following the completion of the deal through PT Harita Kencana Sekuritas, its stake percentage also decreased to 18.66%.

On the other hand, PT Digital Praja Makayasa has become a new shareholder in PT Klinko Karya Imaji Tbk (KLIN), a maker of cleaning equipment. Through PT Mandiri Sekuritas, this investor purchased 66.67 million KLIN shares, of which they promptly held 5.1%.

10.50 million shares of PT Futura Energi Global Tbk (FUTR), a holding company for renewable energy, were bought by Vincent Ie Kok Hui. His shares are now 5.55% after completing the transaction through PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia.

Pandri Prabono-Moelyo, another individual investor, purchased 437,900 shares of PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY), or 5.06% of the company's total shares. The purchase was made possible by PT Mandiri Sekuritas.

Another 7.19 million shares of PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS), a palm oil corporation, were purchased by PT Putra Borneo Agro Lestari. Through PT Korea Investment And Sekuritas Indonesia and two other securities, the investor purchased shares, causing the stake to increase to 7.7%.

Lastly, through PT Indo Premier Sekuritas, real estate developer PT Jaya Real Property Tbk (JRPT) continues to purchase its own shares, this time up to 420 thousand. The stake is 6.18%. (KD)
