JAKARTA – PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL), also known as Mitratel and a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), will distribute IDR 1.47 trillion in cash dividends, equivalent to IDR 18.09 per share, or 70% of its net profit for the 2024 fiscal year.

The decision was approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on Wednesday (28/5).

MTEL President Director Theodorus Ardi Hartoko emphasised that this strong performance stems directly from the company’s expanded asset portfolio, particularly in regions outside Java.

“We continue to optimise productive assets and enhance the use of digital technology in our operations. This strategy not only makes our business model more efficient but also improves customer experience,” said Theodorus during a public presentation on Wednesday (28/5).

At the same event, Mitratel also announced a special dividend distribution of IDR 590.18 billion, or 28% of its net profit, translating to an additional IDR 7.23 per share for shareholders.

The company has also allocated 2% of last year’s net profit, or IDR 42.15 billion, as reserves.

According to IDNFinancials.com, MTEL posted a 1% year-on-year increase in net profit in the first quarter of 2025, reaching IDR 526.3 billion.

This was in line with relatively flat revenue growth, which rose 1.4% to IDR 2.3 trillion. (DH/ZH)
