UNVR distributes nearly all 2024 net profit as dividends

JAKARTA — PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) has distributed nearly all of its net profit from the 2024 financial year as dividends. The decision was approved during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on Tuesday (3/6).
In the meeting, UNVR approved a total dividend payout of IDR 3.4 trillion, or approximately 99.7% of its 2024 net profit, translating to a dividend of IDR 88 per share.
This figure includes an interim dividend of IDR 41 per share, which was paid in December 2024, and a final dividend of IDR 47 per share, scheduled to be paid no later than 2 July 2025.
UNVR President Director Benjie Yap stated that the decision reflects the company’s disciplined capital management and confidence in the strength of its business fundamentals.
“A dividend payout ratio of 99.7% demonstrates our confidence in the resilience of our operations. It also represents our firm commitment to continuously deliver value to shareholders,” he said in a press release on Tuesday (3/6).
Benjie also emphasised that UNVR will continue to strengthen its business foundations while focusing on responsible and sustainable growth.
“This step is viewed as a positive signal for investors, reflecting the company’s financial stability as well as its commitment to transparency and accountability in its profit distribution policy,” he said.
UNVR posted a net profit of IDR 3.4 trillion in 2024, supported by net sales performance reaching IDR 35.1 trillion. (DK/KR/ZH)
