JAKARTA – PT Pertamina Geotermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), a subsidiary of Pertamina in the geothermal energy sector, will distribute a final dividend of USD 136.4 million, equivalent to IDR 2.2 trillion.

The decision was approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held in Jakarta on Tuesday (3/6).

At the meeting, PGEO shareholders agreed to allocate 85% of the company’s net profit for the 2024 fiscal year as a final dividend. This results in a dividend value of USD 0.00328 per share.

PGEO management stated that the dividend will be paid in cash in Indonesian rupiah to shareholders recorded on the date of record. The payment will use Bank Indonesia’s middle exchange rate as of 31 December 2024, which was IDR 16,157 per US dollar.

Accordingly, the total dividend amounts to IDR 53 per share. Based on PGEO’s closing share price today of IDR 1,315, this implies a dividend yield of approximately 4%.

The AGMS also authorised PGEO’s management to determine the dividend distribution schedule and mechanism, in accordance with applicable regulations.

As additional information, PT Pertamina Power Indonesia — PGEO’s controlling shareholder — will receive IDR 1.51 trillion. Meanwhile, public investors will receive IDR 255.38 billion, Masdar Indonesia Solar Holdings RSC Ltd will collect IDR 329.09 billion, and the remaining portion will be allocated to PT Pertamina Pedeve Indonesia.

PGEO shares rose by 0.77% or 10 points in today’s trading. Over the past month, the share price has increased by 43.72%. (DH/KR/ZH)
