Boy Thohir named ADRO vice commissioner, Iwan Dewono becomes CEO

JAKARTA – PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), a member of the Adaro Group, has reshuffled its board of directors and commissioners following a resolution at its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on Monday (2/6).
One of the most notable changes involves Garibaldi ‘Boy’ Thohir, who previously served as President Director of ADRO.
Pursuant to the shareholders’ decision, Boy Thohir has now assumed the role of Vice President Commissioner of ADRO. This position was previously held by Theodore Permadi Rachmat.
Replacing Boy Thohir at the helm, shareholders appointed Iwan Dewono Budiyuwono as the company’s new President Director.
The board of directors has also been strengthened with the appointments of M. Syah Indra Aman and Lany Djuwita Wong as directors.
At the board of commissioners level, Edwin Soeryadjaya remains as President Commissioner. Alongside Boy Thohir as Vice President Commissioner, the board also includes commissioners Christian Ariano Rachmat and Arini Saraswaty Subianto.
Meanwhile, Budi Bowoleksono and Mohammad Effendi have been appointed as Independent Commissioners of ADRO.
The new composition of the board of directors and commissioners is effective from the close of the AGMS until the conclusion of the AGMS for the 2028 financial year.
In addition to the board changes, the AGMS also approved a share buyback programme for ADRO. The maximum authorised buyback value is IDR 4 trillion. (DH/KR/ZH)
