Maybank Sekuritas sold 234.1 million SSMS shares

JAKARTA— Two investors in the palm oil manufacturer PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS) chose to sell their shares, according to the list of changes in share ownership above 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Wednesday, 28 May.
First, 234.10 million SSMS shares were sold by PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia, leaving 8.26% ownership. With the remaining 7.68% of shares, PT Putra Borneo Agro Lestari then sold 1.04 million shares.
Then, through PT Bank HSBC Indonesia, foreign investor HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp.-Self sold 63.31 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI). The investor's stake in the mining parent company dropped to 10.08%.
However, PT Flying Fox Nusantara sold 528.96 million shares of PT Mitra Energi Persada Tbk (KOPI), an energy issuer. This investor instantly became a new stakeholder with an ownership stake of 5.02% of KOPI after purchasing shares through PT Sucor Sekuritas and two other securities.
Information technology issuer PT Techno9 Indonesia Tbk (NINE) provided the following news. Its controller, Heddy Kandou, sold 110 million shares to a foreign investor, Poh Holdings Pte Ltd. Heddy currently owns just 39.53% of NINE, while Poh Holding now owns 5.1%.
Additionally, 10 million shares of NINE were sold by foreign investor Advance Opportunities Fund through PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia, leaving a roughly 7.56% stake.
The new controller of PT Klinko Karya Imaji Tbk (KLIN), PT Samico Capital Utama Mulia, increased its stake to 65.56% with the addition of 857.25 million shares, facilitated by PT Erdikha Elit Sekuritas.
PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI), Sari Roti manufacturer, purchased 1.14 million of its shares in a buyback, acquiring an 8.66% interest overall.
Lastly, PT Bogamulia Nagadi acquired 650,500 more shares in PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), a pharmaceutical firm, bringing the total number of shares under control to 89.64%. (KD/ZH)
