JAKARTA— On Wednesday, May 14, UOB Kay Hian Private Limited, a new investor in PT Central Proteina Prima (CPRO), was recognized in the list of share ownership changes above 5% on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

This overseas investor instantly became a 16.02% shareholder in the shrimp producer issuer after purchasing 9.54 billion shares. This purchase was completed through PT UOB Kay Hian Sekuritas.

Another foreign investor, Glendwood Corporation, purchased 87.13 million shares of PT Surya Permata Andalan Tbk (NATO). The investor's stake in this real estate developer grew to 10.76% through PT Pacific Sekuritas Indonesia.

It was also noticed that two major shareholders were purchasing more shares. 12.79 million shares of financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) were purchased by PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala via PT Sinarmas Sekuritas. Its stake is almost 52%.

Subsequently, PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk acquired 5.5 million shares of its metallurgical subsidiary, PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR). Following the completion of the deal through PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia, its shares increased to 84.4%.

Finally, after purchasing an extra 5.2 million shares of the fleet management solution issuer, Jora Nilam Judge, an individual investor in PT Menn Teknologi Indonesia Tbk (MENN), currently owns 39.09% of the company's shares.

However, PT MNC Sekuritas sold 493.87 million shares of PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), a property development issuer, resulting in the greatest share drop. Its stock dropped 11.81%.

Once more, HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self sold up to 100 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), a mining holding company. Its share percentage dropped further to 10.24%.

Following the sale of 79.50 million BRMS shares by PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia, shares of BUMI's mineral mining subsidiary, PT Bumi Resource Minerals Tbk (BRMS), also made their way onto the list. About 8.37% of the shares are still owned.

Through PT NH Korindo Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Kharisma Andalas Putra sold 67.70 million shares of PT Perdana Gapuraprima Tbk (GPRA). It owns just around 5.98% of this property issuer.

In the end, PT Autum Prima Indonesia issued 24.05 million shares of PT Singaraja Putra Tbk (SINI), resulting in a substantial drop in shares from 35% to 30%. PT Panca Global Sekuritas facilitated the transaction. (KD)
